Thalia Theatre Youth
Is
for disabled young people aged 14-25 and uses theatre to reflect the voices
of young people.
The group have been registered with Norfolk Youth Services and the National Association of Youth Theatres. Membership of these bodies will enable us to be more inclusive.
In 2005 Thalia Theatre Youth were featured in an article on BBC Norfolk online. 'BLAST' reporter Mike Saunders visited the group during their rehearsals for a performance at the Great Yarmouth Disability Forum 2005 and also saw the kind of work that featured in last year's Summer School. Thalia Theatre Collective
Is an exciting initiative aimed at getting people out in the evening to meet new people and become part of our fantastic company. The Thalia Collective is open to anyone over the age of 16 years. No theatre skills or prior knowledge necessary just lots of enthusiasm and willingness to learn. If you join the Collective you will develop your confidence, learn new skills and become a valued team member. You will share your ideas and devise innovative theatre for performance.
